Meet the teachers at Amity Community Preschool
Bay Root
I have been a member of the Amity community for over 34 years. Attended school here myself and then raising my two daughters, Mila 8 and Eva 2.
I have worked for Amity Elementary School for 10 years in the lunchroom, library and as an assistant kindergarten teacher. I decided to follow my passion and recently received my certification in Early Childhood Education.

My goal is to give each student the tools needed to prepare them for Kindergarten. I enjoy working with each individual child and watching them learn and grow through out their preschool experience.

Bianca Hernandez
I am a student at Western Oregon University currently pursuing a degree in Childhood Education. I have had experience working with young students individually and in small groups.
​
I am the oldest of 6 kids and have been around young children my entire life. I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my younger siblings.

I look forward to spending time with your children and being a part of their learning experience.
